Associate Lawyer

Ali is an Associate Lawyer and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. His practice is focused on litigation in the following practice areas: employment and wrongful dismissal, breaches of contract, and corporate disputes.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Ali graduated from Ottawa Metropolitan University (majoring in criminology). Ali thereafter graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) from University of Kent in the United Kingdom. During his time in law school, he was an active participant in Queen's Legal Aid's Clinical Litigation Practice, successfully representing clients before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and the Social Benefits Tribunal. Ali was also the president of the Human Rights Law Club where he co-ordinated speaking events and fundraisers with the goal of promoting human rights awareness within the Queen's community. Upon returning to Canada, Ali earned a Master of Laws (LL. M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School. He also holds a Certificate in Blockchain Law from Osgoode Professional Development.

Ali has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

When not practicing law, Ali enjoys playing sports and spending time with friends and family.
